How to apply strategic intelligence in an institution like the National Police?
This is a short training that he conducted for a group of Ecuadorian police officers searching for their promotion in the institution. One of the training topics for high ranks is STRATEGIC INTELLIGENCE. This time, I explain the concept from its academic theoretical foundation. It seeks to align this interesting discipline with the police’s functionality to fulfil its social protection objective.
This is the example of a consultancy for a well-known institution such as the Ecuadorian Police. In this meeting with senior ranks of the Police who are taking their promotion course, I have explained how Strategic Intelligence can be implemented in an articulated system for a country through its institution of public order.
It is important to highlight that in the EI system implemented at such a high level, senior managers’ effort, willingness, and commitment is required. We are currently developing a proposal to analyze how to manage the implementation of strategic intelligence in the institution’s heart as a tool for competitiveness and better service delivery.
